Why Youtube?

Hello and welcome to my blog, in this blog you will read about my channel and what you can expect coming from me in the future.

My channel is mainly mine, I have full control over it and have the only access to my partnership. However I have a partner who plays along in most of my videos going by the name of Tom (Mr Raptor). He mainly appears in my "Road to 100%" series which I do on Youtube. Together we tackle games from our childhood and attempt to complete them in front of the camera with no walk through's. We do the videos together using any knowledge we have on the games and try to make some entertaining content for the viewers.

Tom is not the only person who makes an appearance on my channel. I have two more guests: Lewis - who has been in some of my videos, but we have bigger plans coming when I start our rage series which I will update you on when its in the works. The second person is Jenna, not only is she in some of my videos, but also plays a big part in my life being my partner. We do everything together and she understands why I do Youtube and is even willing to help in some parts.

Why do I do Youtube?
The question every Youtuber gets asked at some point in there career. The main reason for spending so much time on Youtube is... Its my escape. Its somewhere I can go to escape the reality here in this world. I can sit in a room with my mates and enjoy a good game, whilst making some funny commentary (well we try - its funny to us). Everyday is my project, everyday I can create something different on my channel, not only does it make me happy, the odd time i'll get a viewer who enjoys it.

What do I want from Youtube?
There is no real goal as to what I want. Its more something to keep me going. No matter whats happening in real life, I can put my energy into Youtube. If one day I am feeling run down, I can make a video and laugh the whole way through.

What others think of Youtube?
Other than my partner, everyone else thinks I am doing nothing, just sitting on my computer looking through videos. Now in my mind I am working just as hard as a builder is. His expertise creates buildings etc, where I am creating online content. Television is classed as a job, where people create things and are given the title "Actor". When a Youtuber does anything its a waste of time, has nothing to enhance your career.

When in actual fact, if you can perform a good, constant Youtube schedule you are showing many things. Time management is the most important though, yeah employers probably won't look and think "Damn his Youtube uploads are uploaded the same time everyday - he must know what hes doing" but if you have nothing, then it can show some consistency.

End Goal?
My end goal is probably the same as every other Youtuber... Become successful. Have a fan base who cares about you everyday, people who enjoy your content and tune in everyday to watch something you have created. Gives you purpose. one day, dreams will come true. All I have to do is persist and one day I will improve enough to make it somewhere.
